God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be a beautiful place
He always takes the best.

Silly jokes, yummy toffees and endless Ferrero Roche, warn out carpets from enthusiastic wrestling, tense games of Scrabble and Rummicub, 100s of identical photos from coach trips, a new coin or stamp - proudly unveiled, tinkering in the workshop with a big clonky bolt, glass bottles prodded out of ditches with home made walking sticks, talking to ‘pet’ robbins, endless cups of tea but only in your own specific mug, all wrapped up in a warm, loving, fluffy-white haired hug. So blessed to have had such an amazing Grandpa in my life.
Love you Grandpa.

I had the best grandpa anyone could wish for , a kind , caring and funny man who enjoyed spending time with me.
He enjoyed being in his workshop making things, everything was in a certain place just where he had placed it.
His passion of collecting stamps and coins perfectly displaying them in books , wanting to show his new treasures when he had them.
Bus trips to many places , there would always be a postcard to remember or fudge !
How excited he would get watching his favourite wrestling show ... the amount of slippers he would go through !
Spending hours playing board games to keep me occupied .
Measuring how much we had grown by marking the frame by the door .
There are many more memories l have and will cherish.
Will love you always
Your granddaughter Anna xxxx
